I have told myself so many times, I would spend sometime for watching film as it is a way to learn and to relax during this summer break. The busy summer with teaching and other stuffs did not let me have the chance to do it until now. Since I know that the next few months I may get myself bury under the thesis writing, I guess there will be no time for such luxuries.
Hesitation was my feeling whenever I came across with old films from the 90s. As modern films get more and more outwitted, they learnt all the old tricks and twists of those ancient blockbusters, we may get that lame taste when watching these again. But these 2 have proved me wrong. The plots could be the same but the starring of the cast just blew my mind. These are quiet but get me impressed deeply, simply by its content and the amazing acts of the crew. Sometimes, you dont need to talk much, the action will tell you all.
I actually did not have the intention to watch Shawshank Redemtion at first, but Trung, a quiet but amazingly genius student in my class has get me to sit more than 2 hours to watch the one I did not know why I missed it before. That was a shame! Trung didn’t talk much in my class. He just said when needed. At first, I got no impression on him. But then I was struck by his movie review writing as my homework for them when every lesson ends. The way he put the words has led me to the conclusion that he is truly gifted. His only draw back is speaking. He could not express things that well and his pronunciation just held him back. I asked him sometimes, Why were you here? He just smiled and said, I dont want to miss the basic things.
Nhảm đến đây rồi ko biết nhảm kết bài, nói chung là phim thiệc hay :)).
